My friend didn’t invite me. My world feels shattered. I feel hurt, offended, and personally insulted. This triggers a fear within me—a fear of not being seen, of being unwanted, of believing that my friend might no longer like me. My mind spirals into overthinking, and I lose my peace, my clarity, my sense of control.
But when I step back and simply observe the situation, I realize something: Observation is neutral. It’s free from assumptions, free from personal bias. It’s just the fact—my friend didn’t invite me.
Assumptions, on the other hand, stem from incomplete information. They’re often tangled with past experiences, insecurities, and unchecked emotions. The mind tries to fill the gaps with its own stories, and that’s when clarity dissolves.
Overthinking clouds awareness. But when we choose to stay present, to observe without judgment, peace returns. Clarity breaks through the noise.
Fall in love with karma—daily. Trust that every experience holds a lesson. And remember, the mind finds peace when it chooses observation over assumption.
