Fear -1

From Fear to Freedom: Embracing the Unknown

When I wrote my book Fall in Love with Karma,
I shared something very personal —
that I was born as a fearful personality.

I often wondered…
was this fear something I carried from a past life?
Or was it simply the shock of entering
this vast, unknown world at birth?

Either way, I know this —
fear became my constant companion.

As life unfolded,
each new challenge brought even more fear.
It stacked up like heavy stones inside me —
fear of failure, fear of judgment,
fear of losing people I love,
fear of the future itself.

And the unknown —
it was the biggest trigger of all.
Because the unknown is like darkness.
You can’t see what’s ahead,
so the mind fills it with imagined dangers.

But here is what I’ve learned on my journey:

Fear does not protect your potential — it buries it.
It hides your joy, your creativity, your power to grow.

For years, fear kept me small.
It made me second-guess my dreams,
and silence my own voice.
I lived in what felt “safe,”
but it was only comfort, not freedom.

And then something changed.
Through meditation, through life’s hard lessons,
and through deep self-inquiry,
I realized something simple yet powerful:

Fear is not a wall. It is a doorway.

The unknown only feels dark
until you walk through it.
And the moment you take that step,
it becomes known.
The fear dissolves.
And in its place…
is freedom.

So now, I don’t try to eliminate fear.
I simply notice it — and move gently with it.
Each time I do,
I grow stronger, lighter, freer.

And that is what I want for you.
Don’t wait for fear to disappear.
It won’t.
But the moment you stop running from it,
you will discover that fear was never your enemy —
it was simply your invitation
to meet the truest, most powerful version of yourself.
