My journey with tea didn’t begin in a factory or a boardroom.
It began at home — in the simplest, warmest moments.
I grew up watching chai being made not just as a beverage,
but as an expression of love.
In every Indian home, tea carries a quiet magic…
ginger crushed for strength,
tulsi plucked for purity,
cardamom for sweetness of the soul,
and cinnamon for warmth.
Our elders brewed wellness long before the word became fashionable.
For me, chai was the language of care.
It brought family together, calmed the mind,
and held space for conversations, comfort, and connection.
Those moments stayed with me.
As I travelled, worked, and lived life’s responsibilities,
one thing remained constant —
the grounding simplicity of a cup of tea.
I realized something beautiful:
tea heals.
Tea connects.
Tea gives hope.
And in that moment, the name “Asha” (Hope) found me before I found it.
Asha Tea Company was born from this belief —
that tea should bring wellness to the body,
peace to the mind,
and warmth to the heart.
I wanted to honor ancient Indian chai culture
and combine it with the wellness of Ayurveda.
Not as a trend,
but as a return to authenticity.
Today, every blend we create carries that intention.
It carries my journey —
from childhood memories to life lessons,
from tradition to craft,
from the heart to your cup.
My hope is simple:
