Vagus Nerve -Steps to Heal

I have always been curious about how vagus nerve helps mind and gut the nerve is called the healing highway of our body it calms your mind improves digestion gut health heart lungs and bring deep relaxation but i didn’t just want to read about it i wanted to experience it

So i hired a yoga teacher and created a simple routine

  • 30 minutes of body stretching to open up energy channels
  • Followed by 30 minutes of breathwork and meditation
  • 5 minutes of Anulom Vilom
  • 7 minutes of Box breathing
  • 5 minutes of loud om chanting
  • 5 minutes 0f Brahmari Pranayam
  • And finally 10 minutes of meditation with a soft flute playing in the background                                                                                                I did this three times a week .At first it just felt like self care But slowly something changed .                                                                   One day ,I felt an unusual calmness throughout the day. My thoughts were no longer swinging back and forth. I was in the present , peaceful, and smiling for no reason My digestion improved , I felt lighter and even my heartrate felt steadier as if my whole body was finally in sync.                                                                                                                                                                                               I
